Star Trek numbers

My dad told me that in Star Trek they used a constructed language called Klingon.
They also used a number system that they invented.
Here is how they pronounced numbers from 1 to 9:

• 1 – wa’
• 2 – cha’
• 3 – wej
• 4 – loS
• 5 – vagh
• 6 – jav
• 7 – Soch
• 8 – chorgh
• 9 – Hut

And here is how they wrote them. For me they look like drawings, for instance number 1 looks like a boomerang, 4 looks like a shoe and 8 looks like a bat.
