Marie Curie


Marie Sklowdowska is now known as Marie Curie.
She was born on 7 November 1867 in Poland.
She discovered two radioactive elements; Radium and Polonium.
Radium is used for medical treatments.

She also saved many people in World War1 by discovering “X rays”.

She won two Nobel prizes.
She was the first woman professor in Paris.
