The man and the woman
One day there were lots of giant in the town. And I found hiding place on the road and we went down into the ground and underneath the road. Also, we heard the foot of the giant. We went up a little mountain. Then we heard the giant foot stamping on the ground. And we went up again on the road. I helped my wife to go on the road. Then I gave her a cuddle. And then I saw a man that was holding lamp in his hand on the road to help us and he wanted some money.

Egyptian numbers
Hieroglyphic Numbers
The Egyptians had a decimal system using seven different symbols.- 1 is shown by a single stroke.
- 10 is shown by a drawing of a hobble for cattle.
- 100 is represented by a coil of rope.
- 1,000 a drawing of a lotus plant.
- 10,000 is represented by a finger.
- 100,000 a tadpole or frog
- 1,000,000 figure of a god with arms raised above his head.

Hieroglyphic Numbers

Writing numbers is quite simple; the higher number is always written in front of the lower number and where there is more than one row of numbers the reader should start at the top.

The cat and the king

The king was at the post box waiting for his cat. The king said “Go to the queen. The queen is waiting for you on her throne.”
The cat went to the queen. The queen said “I am surprised that you're here.” The queen thought that he was hiding.

4G's Hundred Word Stories
We've been writing some hundred-word stories. We looked at Paul Klee's A Young Lady's Adventure, and noticed all sorts of things. Then we made up stories, all different kinds of stories. Some of our stories are going to be continued later, some finish in exactly a hundred words!
